IRS Construction were appointed by the City of Edinburgh Council for a comprehensive project that included External Wall Insulation Works, complete Roof Replacements, installation of new Windows and Doors, New anti-slip surface coatings, Alterations to gas supply Services, Insulation top ups to Lofts, Balcony Screen Replacement, Walkway Ceiling Fire Proofing, installation of new secure entry doors and new stair entry fire doors as well as a new upgraded ventilation system.
Recognising the importance of Resident Liaison, IRS Construction employed its in-house Customer Care Team and Resident Liaison Officer to ensure an enhanced level of communication and resident engagement throughout this project which was deemed essential for this project with various internal visits and enhancements required.
All the undertaken works were completed to meet the client's high-quality standards, with regular contract progress meetings held, and Key Performance Indicators successfully achieved, providing the residents with significantly improved thermal efficiency and some real time cost savings as well as the added piece of mind of a 25-year insurance backed SWIGA Guarantee.
